Delivery Policy

Most items are delivered using Australia post E-parcel within 1 working day of purchase..
Some circumstances may prevent an order from being processed on the same day; some orders will be held for verification. This may cause a slight delay in shipping your order to you. For more information on our shipping policies, including rates, please feel free to call us on 08 83888 333, or drop us an email sales@electricroom.com.au.

Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays will be processed the next business day.

Warranty

All new products are covered under the manufacturer's limited warranty. The warranty period varies and is dependent on the manufacturer and product.

All items under warranty will be replaced or repaired by the manufacturer. Turnaround time for warranty claims largely depends on the suppliers or the distributors. However we will do our utmost to speed up the process.

The Electric Room is not responsible for return freight charges incurred in the return of goods under warranty.

Returned goods

The Electric room is committed to providing quality products and an exemplary level of service to our customers. We understand that you are human and may sometimes order the wrong item. We are human too and might have accidentally sent you the wrong item.

Any incorrect, missing or damaged items received must be reported to The Electric Room within 24 hours of you receiving the delivery. Dead on arrival items will be eligible for a full refund or an instant replacement providing this is reported within 7 days of receiving the goods.

Goods that are not faulty can be returned and exchanged within 7 days of receipt. To exchange products, the goods must be returned in their original unopened packaging. Goods that have been opened will incur a re-stocking fee depending on their condition.

The Electric Room will not cover the freight charges for returned goods unless we have accidentally sent the wrong item or the item(s). We are flexible and value your business. If you intend returning you goods for reasons other than Warranty claims, please contact us first by email at sales@electricroom.com.au

 

Securing Your Information

All information on the checkout page including your credit card details is transmitted using high grade 128 bit encryption. This level of encryption makes it very difficult for unauthorised people to view the information travelling between your computer and our servers. The presence of a padlock symbol in the bottom right hand corner of your browser window indicates whether the encryption is active.

The identity of this site has been authenticated by an Equifax Secure Inc digital certificate. This provides you with the assurance that you are not sending your personal information to an imposter's website. Complete credit card numbers are not stored on our servers.

Consumer Data/Privacy policy

This statement sets out The Electric Room's policies relating to the privacy of your personal information.

These policies are based on national and international privacy standards.

The Electric Room web site collects the following information from users:

  1. A record of the visit including logs the following information for statistical purposes - the user's IP address, the date and time of the visit to the site, the pages accessed and documents downloaded, the previous site visited and the type of browser used. No attempt will be made to identify individual users or their browsing activities except, in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect our web server logs. This information is analysed at the end of each week and month to determine the site's usage statistics.
  2. The Electric Room retains the shipping address and contact details of people who order products by means of online forms or by email addresses or phone numbers published on the site. This information is retained for the purpose of ensuring that the ordered goods are correctly delivered. They are stored in a secure area on The Electric Room's Local Area Network and will not be used for any other purpose nor disclosed to a third party without consent.
  3. People who access the secure areas of the The Electric Room site by login via a user name and password provided by The Electric Room are identified by this login procedure and are assumed to be the person whom the login details were originally provided to.

No personal details are provided to any other individual or organisation, except when permission is given by the person concerned.

When a user has clicked on a link to any other website, they leave the The Electric Room site and are no longer protected by the The Electric Room Privacy conditions and policy.

This privacy statement is periodically reviewed in line with the ongoing development of the The Electric Room web site.
