The Switchbone is in fact, a distribution amplifi er that has been optimized for guitars to transfer the natural tone and feel of the instrument to the amplifi ers. Unlike passive AB-Y boxes that introduce switch noise and divide the guitar signal in two, the Switchbone employs noiseless opto-coupler switching and the same highly acclaimed, Class-A circuit found in the Radial JD7 Injector with 100% discreet components (no op-amps). Our unique Drag™ Control load correction circuitry lets you dial-in the perfect guitar-to-amp relationship that is otherwise lost when buffering the signal to drive two amps.

To eliminate hum caused by ground loops, the output for amp-B is transformer-isolated. Our unique Toggle Mode™ footswitch and LED system provides clear visual feedback of amp selection without confusion or tap-dancing! To enhance performance, a power boost circuit adds extra kick for solos. Vari-Boost™ may be set to GAIN for an overall level boost, MID ONLY for a boost that cuts through the mix or both at once. Vari-Boost can also be set to mute for silent tuning through the Switchbone’s tuner output.
