Shipping Policy

Most items are processed and dispatched within 1 business day of purchase. This varies depending on the payment method you use and availability of stock. Please note that most items are sent via courier require a signature on delivery, depending on the value of the goods. Smaller items are usually sent via Australia Post ‘Click And Send’.

Some circumstances may prevent an order from being processed on the same day; some orders will be held for verification. This may cause a delay in shipping your order to you. Prices and specifications are subject to change without prior notice.

Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays will be processed the next business day.


All new products are covered under the manufacturer’s limited warranty. The warranty period varies and is dependent on the manufacturer and product.

All items under warranty will be replaced or repaired by the manufacturer. Turnaround time for warranty claims largely depends on the suppliers or the distributors. However we will do our utmost to speed up the process.

The Electric Room is not responsible for return freight charges incurred in the return of goods under warranty.

Returned goods

The Electric room is committed to providing quality products and an exemplary level of service to our customers. We understand that you are human and may sometimes order the wrong item. We are human too…

Any incorrect, missing or damaged items received must be reported to The Electric Room within 24 hours of you receiving the delivery. Dead on arrival items will be eligible for a full refund or an instant replacement providing this is reported within 7 days of receiving the goods.

Goods that are not faulty can be returned and exchanged within 7 days of receipt (excluding Headphones). To exchange products, the goods must be returned in their original unopened packaging. Goods that have been opened will incur a re-stocking fee depending on their condition.

The Electric Room will not cover the freight charges for returned goods unless we have accidentally sent the wrong item(s). We are flexible and value your business. If you intend on returning you goods for reasons other than Warranty claims, please contact us first by email at sales@electricroom.com.au.

Securing Your Information

All information on the checkout page, including your credit card details, is transmitted using high grade encryption.

The identity of this site has been authenticated by an SSL certificate. This provides you with the assurance that you are not sending your personal information to an imposter’s website. Complete credit card numbers are never stored on our servers.

Consumer Data/Privacy policy

This statement sets out The Electric Room’s policies relating to the privacy of your personal information.

These policies are based on national and international privacy standards.

The Electric Room web site collects the following information from users:

  1. A record of the visit including logs the following information for statistical purposes – the user’s IP address, the date and time of the visit to the site, the pages accessed and documents downloaded, the previous site visited and the type of browser used. No attempt will be made to identify individual users or their browsing activities except, in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect our web server logs. This information is analysed at the end of each week and month to determine the site’s usage statistics.
  2. The Electric Room retains the shipping address and contact details of people who order products by means of online forms or by email addresses or phone numbers published on the site. This information is retained for the purpose of ensuring that the ordered goods are correctly delivered. They are stored in a secure area on The Electric Room’s Local Area Network and will not be used for any other purpose nor disclosed to a third party without consent.
  3. People who access the secure areas of the The Electric Room site by login via a user name and password provided by The Electric Room are identified by this login procedure and are assumed to be the person whom the login details were originally provided to.

No personal details are provided to any other individual or organisation, except when permission is given by the person concerned.

When a user has clicked on a link to any other website, they leave the The Electric Room site and are no longer protected by the The Electric Room Privacy conditions and policy.

This privacy statement is periodically reviewed in line with the ongoing development of the The Electric Room web site.

Lowest Prices guarantee

The lowest price guarantee applies to items that are stocked by the Electric Room’s website that an authorised Australian retailer has in stock and available for sale to the general public. Excluded from the lowest price guarantee are; products sold as part of a package deal or bulk purchase, products discounted through the redemption of coupons or any other type of loyalty scheme, products discounted on the basis that the products are ex-demo, factory seconds, refurbished, second hand or liquidation stock, products where the price advertised is due to an error by a competitor, products made available by a distributor selling directly to the public or by a grey or parallel importer, or products where the price is a contract price. The Electric Room must be reasonably able to verify that the product with the lower price is available for sale.
